FLOWER AND PRODUCE SHOW- 16th July, 2011

The windy weather this year played havoc with the entries for the rose classes also the cakes were short in supply. On the upside the handicrafts and photography had a lot more entries this year. All in all everything evened out and those that took part enjoyed the friendly rivalry that a village show always brings.

Cup Winners were:-

  • Richard Seebohm - Louis/May Brown Cup for Fruit and Vegetables
  • Elaine Tame - The Bugler Cup for the best rose exhibit.
  • Sandy Adderley - Cracroft Challenge Cup for the best flower other than roses.
  • Sylvia Delves - The Gordon Knight Cup for the best pot plant.
  • Susan Paul - The Flower Arranger Trophy.
  • Jill Harper - Knightsmith Trophy (preserves)
  • Barbara Pursey - The Mallinson Cup for handicraft.
  • Carol Lumley - for the Photography Cup.
  • John Harper - The Millennium Trophy for the best art exhibit.
  • Irene & Tony Baker - Grove House Cup (allotments)
  • Richard Seebohm -Cookery and Home Produce Trophy
